Monro Company  for Poultry and General Trading  is a local company that owns the Al Mayas slaughterhouse located in Erbil Governorate.
Al-Mayas slaughterhouse slaughters chickens manually and with a sharp knife according to Islamic law its considered one of the most recent slaughterhouse in the region and Iraq, all automatic devices and machines were equipped and installed by the Dutch company Stork, Maine, Pluck & Play Solutions, Al-Mayas slaughterhouse produces chicken and chicken parts ( Fresh & Frozen) of different weight and sizes according to customers request with the highest quality in order to be able to compete with similar production in the Middle East and European countries, all the waste from the project are recycled through waste treatment system the end result is reusable water for watering the green area and animal based crude protein powder with capacity of ten tons per day(3.120 tons per year) and Al-Mayas slaughterhouse is always evolving and updating itself to keep up with global developments.
